Interested developers will need to act quickly, however: the application deadline for the Void Gamescom 2026 Scholarship is Thursday 16 April at 11.59 pm. The scholarship is open to all members of Imirt – The Irish Game Makers Association.

The Void Gamescom 2026 Scholarship is an initiative designed to support Irish developers in attending gamescom in Cologne, Europe’s largest trade fair for the games industry.

According to Imirt and Void, the scholarship covers travel and accommodation costs, as well as business tickets granting access to the B2B area and MeetToMatch facilities for three developers. Unlike other countries, Ireland has not yet been represented at gamescom with its own national pavilion.
