gamescom awards: Das sind die Nominierungen

Der Vorhang ist gelüftet: Die Jury hat ihre Entscheidung getroffen und die diesjährigen Nominierungen für den gamescom award enthüllt. Ab der opening night live darf das Publikum mitbestimmen, wer am Ende die Trophäen in den Händen halten wird.

Verliehen werden die gamescom awards in diesem Jahr in 16 Kategorien, die sich in Bereiche Arts, Plattform und Global aufteilen lassen. Nach der Vorauswahl durch die umfassend besetzte Jury, an der auch GamesMarkt-Redakteur Marcel Kleffmann mitwirkte, entscheiden nun Jury und Publikum bzw. Fans gemeinsam, wer am Ende die Gewinnenden sind. Der Start zum Voting erfolgt dabei mit der opening night live (ONL) am Dienstagabend.

Als Favorit für den gamescom Award geht "Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon" von Bandai Namco Entertainment ins Rennen. Das Spiel ist insgesamt sieben Mal nominiert. "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" von Nintendo folgt mit vier Nominierungen, vor "REKA" von Emberstorm Entertainment/Fireshine Games und "The Wandering Village" von Stray Fawn Studio, die je dreimal nominiert sind.

Die Entscheidung in der Kategorie gamescom "Green Studio of the Year" fällt unabhängig vom Hauptvoting und wird sogar bereits während der ONL verkündet. Alle anderen Awards werden im Rahmen der gamescom award show am Freitag im gamescom studio hosted by IGNin Halle 8 verkündet.
