Indie publisher Humble Games is working on a series of games and is planning a digital showcase for Q1 2025, according to a company statement. It is also working with the Good Games Group (not to be confused with the German company Goodgame Studios), which was recently founded by former Humble Games managers.

After a major restructuring, which also involved layoffs, US indie publisher Humble Games is looking to the future. And in the opinion of Steve Horowitz, the outlook is positive. The CEO of Ziff Davis, the parent company of Humble Games, explains: "We’re excited for the future of Humble Games. As we work on a great lineup of games coming to market in 2024 and beyond, as well as seek new opportunities, our strategic partnership with The Powell Group has helped weather a difficult time in the games industry. Their team will ensure that Humble Games has a solid foundation for success and the brand continues to foster creativity within indie games."

He did not provide any further details about new games or the date of the planned showcase. Humble Games also announced a new partnership with Good Games Group. This is a recently founded indie publisher. Alan Patmore and Mark Nash are behind this. Both were affected by the layoffs in the summer. Patmore was Executive Vice President and General Manager at Humble Games and is now the Founder and CEO of Good Games Group. Nash was Vice President Global Publishing at Humble Games and is now COO of the Good Games Group.

Incidentally, the new company has nothing to do with Goodgame Studios in Hamburg, which is best known for the game Goodgame Empire and has been part of the Stillfront Group since 2017.
