Hooded Horse Sold 4.5 Million Games in Twelve Months

In twelve months, Hooded Horse has sold 4.5 million units and its games are on over 9.5 million wishlists. Three games from Germany are also doing well: Fata Deum, Menace and Super Fantasy Kingdom.

Following the recent Hooded Horse sale (on Steam), the publisher has had a look at the results. Starting with wishlists, Hooded Horse has announced that there are 13 million outstanding wishlists across its portfolio. 9.5 million Steam wishlists have been added in the last twelve months. Highlights include:

• Falling Frontier has crossed 600,000 wishlists. The sci-fi RTS is being developed by a single developer at Stutter Fox Studios.
• Nova Roma has reached 350,000 since it was announced last year. It's a city builder in a Roman setting.
• Super Fantasy Kingdom, the roguelike city builder from Feryaz Beer in Germany, has crossed the 250,000 wishlist threshold and joins Menace, the next turn-based tactics game from Overhype Studios in Hamburg, the developers of Battle Brothers.
• Espiocracy, the Cold War grand strategy game, has passed the 200,000 wishlist mark, along with the medieval management game Blacksmith Master and the divine game Fata Deum. The latter is being developed in Germany by 42 Bits Entertainment.
• Fragile Existence has passed the 150,000 wishlist mark.
• Beyond These Stars, Mars Tactics, Capital Command and Whiskerwood (which was revealed in July 2024) have all reached over 100,000 wishlists so far.

In total, Hooded Horse published games have sold over 4.5 million base game copies in twelve months. Here are the lifetime sales milestones:

• Manor Lords has sold over 2.5 million copies since its Early Access launch in April 2024.
• Against the Storm has sold over 1.2 million copies since its release. It left Early Access in December 2023.
• Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic has sold over 600,000 copies. It was released from Early Access in June 2024.
• Empires of the Undergrowth has sold over 450,000 copies. It left Early Access in June 2024.
• Old World has sold over 350,000 copies.
• Norland has sold over 300,000 copies since Early Access launch in July 2024.
• Terra Invicta has sold over 250,000 copies in Early Access
• Cataclismo, Nebulous: Fleet Command and Clanfolk have all sold over 150,000 copies since their Early Access launches.
• Xenonauts 2 has sold over 100,000 copies since its launch in Early Access last year.

The strategy-focused publisher is looking forward to the upcoming releases of Beyond These Stars, Capital Command, Espiocracy, Every Day We Fight, Fata Deum, Fragile Existence, Hexxen: Hunters (from Germany-based Ulisses Spiele Digital), Mars Tactics, Nova Roma and The Way of Wrath, in addition to other previously announced games for next year such as Drill Keeper and Junxions.
