Wie erst jetzt bekannt wurde, kooperiert Activision mit dem Frankfurter Videoanbieter CIC Video. Auf dem Kaufvideo "Star Trek: Der Aufstand", von dem CIC seit Veröffentlichung am 15. Juli über 400.000 Units an den Handel ausgeliefert hat, befindet sich ein einminütiger Trailer des Computergames "Star Trek: Der Aufstand". Dieser soll den Endverbraucher auf kommende Abenteuer im "Star Trek"-Universum einstimmen. Das PC-Game bringt Publisher Activision im November heraus.
