Munich-based Aesir Interactive is venturing into publishing for the first time with the "Open World Survival Craft" IP EverRail, developed by Icebird Studios, which is part of the Aesir Interactive Group.
Aesir Interactive, the studio behind Police Simulator: Patrol Officers and the upcoming open-world adventure game The Legend of Khiimori, has announced its new original IP, EverRail. In collaboration with Icebird Studios, Aesir Interactive is venturing into the realm of publishing for the first time. With over a decade of experience in the games industry, the Munich-based team is poised to take the lead and bring their passion project to life.
"We are proud to announce that Aesir Interactive is taking the next bold step in its more than 10-year company history by entering publishing! The exciting IP EverRail and the cooperation with Icebird Studios is an ideal opportunity and partnership." - Wolfgang Emmer, CEO Aesir Interactive
Icebird Studios is also based in Munich and is part of the Aesir Interactive Group. EverRail is financially supported by the FFF Bayern.
EverRail is an open-world survival and crafting odyssey set in a frozen wasteland where movement is essential for survival. Players ride on a battery-powered train along the rails, glide through the air and brave the cold on foot. Aesir: "The world has frozen over, and your train is your last lifeline. Build it, expand it, protect it, because if the battery runs dry, everything ends." The game will launch 2026 in Early Access.
