InnoGames has presented the results of its latest annual salary analysis. According to the findings, the Hamburg-based company's salaries remain in the top third compared to other German games companies. Therefore, no adjustments are planned at this time.

Since the initial publication of its salary bands, InnoGames has been one of the most transparent German games companies regarding salaries. This transparency includes an annual salary analysis, which serves as the basis for potential adjustments. The latest results have now been released.

According to the analysis, InnoGames' salaries are still within the top third of the German games industry—a strategic goal for the company. If this positioning were to slip, adjustments would be made. However, that is not currently the case.

Christiane Gäb, Director People & Culture, comments: "Even if we assume that the worst phase of consolidation in the games industry is now behind us, the ongoing layoffs have resulted in a relatively large number of skilled workers being available. After a long period in which unusually high salary increases were demanded in several areas, we are now back on an equal footing. Even if the sector were to experience a steep upturn from here, this would only have a delayed impact on recruitment. Accordingly, we expect that there will be no reason to raise our salary bands again until after our next analysis in the fourth quarter of 2025 at the earliest."

InnoGames' salary bands cover approximately 80% of the workforce and provide insights into the minimum and maximum earning potential at various career levels across nine career models, including developer, game designer, and marketer. Due to cost-benefit considerations, a salary band is only created if at least five employees share the same career model.

The salary bands outline pay ranges for different departments and job levels. For instance, in the Developer role at InnoGames, salaries for junior positions range from €48,000 to €58,000 per year, while senior developers earn between €75,000 and €96,000. InnoGames publishes its salary bands here, where they are freely accessible.
