Berlin-based studio Aldamami Games has announced that Bloodletter, their medieval-inspired strategy deck-building game, will be released on Steam Early Access for PC on 31 March 2026. In the meantime, players can try out a new demo featuring enhanced visuals, cards with new effects, a revamped draw condition and more.

Aldamami Games: "We are very excited to share this milestone with our players and can't wait to hear their thoughts on all the new content. The feedback on the demo has been incredibly valuable so far, and we have already been able to implement some great changes. We look forward to hearing more from our players and continuing to improve the game!"

Bloodletter is a strategic deck-building game inspired by tarot cards, medieval healing practices and the superstitions of the time. Players must create a deck of cards to protect villagers' bodies and souls from attacks by dark entities, gain their trust and utilise their unique abilities to enhance healing practices. Gameplay follows a day/night cycle, with different interactions available in each phase. During the day, players heal the villagers and upgrade their cards. At night, the entity spreads its sickening influence before the next day begins and the battle continues.

Aldamami Games is an indie game studio based in Berlin, founded in mid-2024. The prototype for Bloodletter was developed through a collaboration at university. Following its nomination for the Young Talent Award: Best Prototype at the 2024 Deutscher Computerspielpreis (German Computer Game Awards), the studio received funding from Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg to turn the prototype into a full release.
