Crunchyroll is doubling down on games, adding 15 more titles to the Game Vault - a growing library of premium mobile games for Mega and Ultimate Fan members. This includes Battle Chasers: Nightwar from Airship Syndicate and HandyGames.

As Crunchyroll continues to focus on games, 15 more titles will be added to the Game Vault in the near future. The first to be added are the turn-based role-playing game Battle Chasers: Nightwar from Airship Syndicate and HandyGames (HandyGames ported the game to mobile), the kaiju-inspired beat-em'up Dawn of the Monsters, and the puzzle-platformer Evan's Remains. Later on, Crypt of the NecroDancer, Corpse Party, Magical Drop VI, RWBY: Arrowfell, and Steins;Gate will follow.

"Bringing visual novels to Crunchyroll's game lineup is another example of how we super-serve our fans with entertainment that deepens their love of anime," said Terry Li, EVP of Emerging Business, Crunchyroll. "Like manga, visual novels are a source material for hit anime and often expand on beloved series. It is important to offer that content to our audience as part of their Membership."

The Crunchyroll Game Vault launched in November 2023, and now has a library of fourteen titles for Crunchyroll members at the Mega and Ultimate Fan tiers. Crunchyroll Games also publishes free-to-play titles that are available outside of the premium membership, including Street Fighter: Duel and One Punch Man: World. The library of premium titles, including River City Girls, Behind the Frame, inbento, Thunder Ray and more. They are available to play without ads or in-app purchases on the App Store, Google Play and Crunchyroll in over 200 countries and territories.

Crunchyroll is an independently operated joint venture between US-based Sony Pictures Entertainment and Japan's Aniplex, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc., both subsidiaries of the Tokyo-based Sony Group.
