In Nordamerika können sich Käufer von Activisions "Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock" für Nintendo Wii nun für eine kostenlose Austausch-Disc anmelden. "Anfang 2008", so das Unternehmen, sollen diese Kunden dann informiert werden, auf welchem Wege sie zu einer neu gepressten Version des Spiels gelangen können.

Für Deutschland wurde noch kein entsprechendes Verfahren kommuniziert. Nachdem Ende 2007 bekannt geworden war, dass das Musikspiel entgegen anderslautender Beschreibung auf der Verpackung nur Mono-Sound ausgibt, hatte Activision baldige Abhilfe versprochen.
