There are no real surprises in this year's Apple App Charts for Germany. However, there were at least new champions in the free-to-play lists and on Apple Arcade.

Minecraft, on the other hand, remains unchallenged at the top of the premium charts for iPhone and iPad. As in 2023, Minecraft is the most downloaded premium app on Apple. And many other familiar faces can be found on the premium lists, such as Plague, Stardew Valley, Geometry Dash and Bridge Constructor.

By contrast, there was more change in the free-to-play charts, where Brawl Stars is celebrating a triumphant comeback as the most-downloaded game on both iPhone and iPad. Last year's winner on iPhone, Monopoly Go!, has fallen back to seventh place. The most-downloaded iPad game of 2023, Roblox, fell back to third place. There is also a new frontrunner in Apple Arcade. There, the previous frontrunner, Bloons TD 6+, has fallen to fourth place.
