Update from 29 January 2026:

The submission phase for the Foundattion program has been extended. Attendants can now apply until 6 February in German or English.

Original from 07 January 2026:

The GDD GermanDevDays Foundation was established in 2017 during the GDD conference and supports students and young professionals in the German gaming industry based in Germany so that they can attend trade fairs or conferences. Attendance at relevant events is subsidized with a one-time payment of €500 to cover travel, hotel costs, tickets, and booth rental. The selection is made by the foundation's advisory board, represented by André Bernhardt (An Indie Advisor), Serah Jung (HS Furtwangen), Christiane Gehrke (Gaming Aid e.V.), Stefan Marcinek (Assemble), and Martin Baumgart (Mittweida University of Applied Sciences).

The deadline for applications for the current round is January 30, 2026, using the application form. Only one application is possible for team applications. Individuals who have already received funding are not eligible to reapply.
