Company size is well and good, but it doesn't make a game. Based on data from the studios that we covered in studio portraits, GamesMarkt has compiled the smallest game dev studios in Germany that have successfully released a commercial title already in a free to use graphic.

Recently, GamesMarkt published a graphic about the biggest game companies in Germany based on a dataset by the game association. By popular demand, we are now flipping to the other end of the spectrum: The smallest game companies in Germany that have already released a commercial title. The data is based on information that studios sent us for the creation of a studio portrait. The set is not comprehensive, but based on data send in by companies for their studio portrait articles here in GamesMarkt. If you think your company is missing, send an email to the editorial team!

GamesMarkt has compiled the data into this graphic. The graphic is free to use and share unadapted. Download it here.

The numbers include full and part time employees, but excludes working students and other marginally employed people as well as freelancers.
