With Austria's biggest gaming fair coming from 10 to 12 October, the first details are now public. MediaMarktSaturn will be main sponsor, while Nintendo and Square Enix have been confirmed as exhibitors.

From 10 to 12 October, the 16. Game City Vienna comes back to Austria’s capital city. Now, the first details for the fair have been released. Man sponsoring partner will be MediaMarktSaturn. As exhibitors, Nintendo, Medion and A1 eSports have already been confirmed. A Red Bull Tetris tournament will also be held on 12 October, qualifying for the world cup in Dubai.

Vucko Schüchner, Managing Director of Wienxtra, emphasizes: "Game City is more than just a trade fair – it is a place for people to meet, exchange ideas, and share their enthusiasm. It is particularly important to us to focus on youth protection, family friendliness, and education: children and young people can play in a protected environment, while parents gain insights into the opportunities and challenges of games. The fact that we are bringing gaming to Vienna City Hall for the 16th time this year shows how much the community values this event. Here we celebrate the diversity of the gaming world – free of charge and accessible to everyone."

With 85,000 visitors in 2024, Game City is Austria's largest gaming trade fair. It’s also the site of Austria’s most important game studies conference, Future and Reality of Gaming (FROG).
