The Tommi 2025 enters its final phase with the announcement of the nominations. Now it's up to the children's juries to decide which games and educational software will win.

It is one of the oldest awards for children's software in Germany: the Tommi Children's Software Award has been presented since 2002 and honors not only educational software but also games that are suitable for children. In addition to its strict focus on the target group of kids, the selection process is also unique. After a shortlist has been drawn up by a jury of experts, the winners are determined by the target group itself. This is precisely the phase that Tommi 2025 is now entering.

Once the expert jury has announced the nominations in the various categories, children and young people will have until mid-November to try out and rate these titles in a total of 40 public libraries throughout Germany, thereby determining the winners.

The winners will then be announced successively from December 8 by Tommi's media partner, the KiKA media magazine Team Timster. The announcement will be made online and in the KiKA app. The Tommi Awards ceremony will then be shown in full on December 14 at 8:00 p.m. on the KiKA TV channel.
