DevGAMM Lisbon will once again feature awards specifically for indie developers and small studios. The prize pool will amount to $100,000. Interested studios can apply.

The DevGAMM Awards 2024, sponsored by Scorewarrior, aims to support indie developers and small studios with up to 50 members. Development teams are invited to compete in ten categories.  Interested studios have until 30 September to submit their game (full rules). Winners will be announced at DevGAMM Lisbon on 15 November. The price categories are:

Grand Prize - $25,000The main category, with all submitted games eligible, whether they’re designed for desktop or mobile. The winner gets $20,000, and an additional $5,000 will be equally shared among all 5 nominees.

Excellence in Game Design - $10,000Awarded to the games with the most innovative design solutions.

Excellence in Visual Art - $10,000Awarded to the game with the most unique art style, featuring coherent art direction and outstanding graphic solutions.

Excellence in Audio - $10,000Awarded to the game with the best sound direction, audio clarity, dubbing, and acting.

Excellence in Narrative - $10,000Awarded to the game with the most compelling and well-crafted storyline and storytelling.

Most Anticipated Game - $10,000Awarded to the unreleased game with the highest potential to become a new legend in gaming.

Best Mobile Game - $10,000Awarded to the strongest competition entry designed for mobile devices.

Best Game from Portugal - $10,000This category, part of the DevGAMM Lisbon 2024 conference, celebrates the best game created by Portuguese developers.

Developers Choice - $3,000All entries eligible for the competition are included in this category, and the winner is determined by the voting of all participating teams.

Community Vote - $2,000* All entries eligible for the competition are included in this category, and the winner is determined by public voting, allowing all audiences to support their favorites.
