The Baltic Dev Talks are a new talk and pitch format. Participation is limited to 75 people and requires prior registration. The new format is presented by Deck13 Spotlight, Deck13's publishing label for indies.

The Baltic Dev Talks will take place on the day before the actual Baltic Games Fest in Neumünster. Lectures are planned from 2 p.m. onwards, during which experienced experts will provide practical insights. Pitch & Run will start at 6.30 p.m., where indie teams will pitch their game to a jury of experts in 15 minutes and receive immediate feedback. The jury includes Michael Hoss from DECK13 Spotlight, Søren Lass, Jan Halwe from ByteRockers' Games and Hans Ippisch.

"With the Dev Talks on the day before the Baltic Games Fest, we are creating another important building block for the long-term development of the event. The strong response from the scene shows how great the need for exchange and in-depth know-how is. Our goal is to gradually build a format with nationwide appeal. Special thanks go to our partner DECK13 Spotlight, without whose support the Dev Talks would not be possible," says Dirk Iwersen, Managing Director of Holstenhallen GmbH.
