Bandai Namco Europe has announced the third round of the European Tekken Cup for Tekken 8.

The competition starts in October with the Tekken National Championship in the Netherlands and runs in the first phase until February 2025. Players compete to reach the top of the leaderboard in one of the 9 regions:

  • France
  • Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg (BeNeLux)
  • United Kingdom & Ireland
  • Italy and Malta
  • Spain and Portugal (Iberica)
  • Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Iceland (Nordic)
  • Germany, Austria, Switzerland (DACH)
  • Poland
  • Greece

Participants from all regions can collect points in the Major events of the European Tekken Cup and also in the Dojo events in order to make it into the top 2 in their region and qualify directly for the European Tekken Cup Final. The two best performances at the Major events and the four best performances at the Dojo events will be taken into account for the final ranking. In addition, a Last Chance Qualifier will be organised for the first time in the European Tekken Cup, in which the final participants will be selected at the gamescom LAN. The rules correspond to those of the Tekken World Tour. Further information can be found here.
