Nacon Creates new Racing Department and Presents Upcoming Games

During the Bigben Group's annual event, Nacon announced a new department dedicated to racing (accessories and games). The company also presented upcoming games, including GreedFall II: The Dying World and Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, as well as a steering wheel and other gaming accessories.

During the 7th edition of Bigben Week in Paris, Nacon presented its future catalogue of games and accessories. The French company announced the creation of a new department dedicated to racing. On this occasion, Nacon presented Revosim, a premium brand that includes the brand's first steering wheel. Equipped with a direct drive motor, a GT steering wheel and a set of pedals with a load cell, the prototype was presented at Bigben Week on a simulator equipped with D-Box haptic actuators.

"We are proud to be presenting, for the first time, the prototype of our first premium racing wheel during Bigben Week. Its development represents a natural step in the evolution of Nacon' expertise, epitomised by the new brand Revosim, which combines the company’s many years of experience in racing simulations with the flagship Revolution accessories brand. We are looking forward to revealing the technical details of the steering wheel in the coming months," stated Sébastien Waxin, Director of Nacon's Racing department.

Speaking of racing: The publisher has announced the release date for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. The game, developed by KT Racing, is set in Hong Kong and has been recreated at a scale of 1:1. It will be available from 12 September 2024, and in early access from 5 September 2024 for pre-order.

Nacon is expanding its range of simulation games with Architect Life: A House Design Simulator, developed by French studio Shine Research. The game invites players to run an architectural firm that designs and builds dream homes for clients. The game will be available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch in 2025.

More announcements: - Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator from Munich-based Aesir Interactive was also presented at Bigben Week. - Cat Rescue Story, developed by Tivola (divested by Jumpgate), will be released on 26 September for Switch, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. It was awarded "Best Mobile Game" at the German Computer Game Awards 2024. - GreedFall II: The Dying World will be released this summer, initially in Early Access for PC. - Tour de France 2024 will be available on 6 June 2024 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Pro Cycling Manager 2024 will also be released on PC on the same day. - Rugby 24 has been revealed. - Ravenswatch will leave Early Access later this year. The game has over 500,000 players. - Following the success of its Pro Series gaming headsets, the RIG brand has unveiled the latest model, the Rig 900 Max. - Nacon's family of official peripherals for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, which will be launched in 2021, will continue to evolve over the coming months.
