Bei der Netzwerk-Infrastruktur für seinen Onlineservice Xbox Live arbeitet Publisher Microsoft mit der Black Box Corporation zusammen.

Die Netzwerk-Infrastruktur für Microsofts Onlinedienst Xbox Live stellt die Black Box Corporation zur Verfügung. Wie das Unternehmen mitteilte, kümmert es sich um die Netzwerke der Xbox-Rechenzentren in London, Seattle und Tokio. Weitere Zentren in den USA und anderen Ländern würden derzeit eingerichtet. Black Box sei für Planung, Projektkoordination, Installation und Wartung der Netzwerk-Infrastruktur in den Rechenzentren verantwortlich. Xbox Live soll in Nordamerika am 15. November ans Netz gehen. Start eines für alle Xbox-Gamer  soll am 30. November sein.
