Open source 3D creation software Blender has released the 5.0 of their program. The jump from version 4.5 marks an entirely new version release with several entirely novel features and new technical requirements.
The release log reads impressive: It includes wide-gamit and HDR color support on exports, new working space administration options, support for ACES 1.3 and 2.0 workflows with the ACEScg working space, multiple scattering for sky texture nodes, instant sunset and daylight generation and much more. You can find the release nodes on the Blender website. The technical requirements can be found here.
