game events GmbH is starting preparations for devcom Developers Conference 2025. From now until April 27, proposals for topics can be submitted.

The devcom Developers Conference 2025 (#ddc2025) will take place this year from August 17 to 19 and, as usual, will open the gamescom week in Cologne. The actual lectures are planned for August 18 and 19. On the evening of August 17, the conference speakers and representatives of gamescom traditionally meet for a networking event. In addition, game Events GmbH, which is organizing #ddc2025, is planning further warm-up events.

Anyone who wants to be a speaker at #ddc2025 can now submit topic suggestions using a corresponding form. These can be intended as a lecture or workshop, or as a panel or roundtable. Since #ddc2025 is planning numerous tracks ranging from business or leadership & HR to marketing and PR, game design, audio & sound design and arts, animation & VFX, there are virtually no limits when it comes to selecting topics. However, it is important that the topics are relevant to the audience. Further details can be found in the Submission Guidelines, which are available on the devcom website, along with the submission form.

The #ddc2025 celebrated a new record last year. Due to the move to the brand-new Confex Congress Center at Koelnmesse, it was able to grow by 45 percent in terms of visitor numbers and ultimately counted 5,000 visitors who were on site for at least one day. You can read these and other figures in our follow-up report on devcom 2024.
