Capcom has announced that it will be exhibiting at gamescom 2024. Monster Hunter Wilds will be playable for the first time in the world in Cologne. Other Capcom titles at the show will be announced in the coming weeks.

The announcement that Capcom will showcase Monster Hunter Wilds at gamescom 2024 follows the unveiling of the game's latest trailer during Summer Game Fest. Producer Ryozo Tsujimoto and Geoff Keighley said that the next new content will be revealed during the gamescom Opening Night Live, while the gamescom 2024 show floor will offer the first opportunity to play the game.

The Capcom booth will feature more than 60 Monster Hunter Wilds hands-on stations across more than 900 square metres. Ryozo Tsujimoto, Executive Director and Art Director Kaname Fujioka and Director Yuya Tokuda will also be on hand at Capcom's own gamescom stage to give further insight into the game. Capcom will have even more games in store for the event, which runs from 21 to 25 August. For those unable to make it to Cologne, the Japanese publisher will be offering various live-streaming options.

Monster Hunter Wilds is due for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2025.
