Chimera Entertainment has launched the Celestial Church Expansion for Songs of Silence on PC (€12.99). Delivering over six hours of new, story-driven content (four new story-driven campaign chapters), as well as a fully playable multiplayer faction, the Celestial Church expansion represents a major milestone in the evolution of the base game, and reaffirms the studio's commitment to its long-term development.

"Players asked for deeper narrative experiences, and the Celestial Church expansion is our answer to that call," said Songs of Silence's Executive Producer, Hendrik Lesser. "We're excited to keep enriching the game and delivering meaningful content for years to come."

Songs of Silence entered Early Access over 18 months ago. It reached version 1.0 on 13 November 2024. With five major updates and the Lighteaters DLC released this year alone, and a player base now exceeding 300,000, Chimera Entertainment continues to expand the Songs of Silence universe. "The expansion was shaped by recurring community requests for additional story-focused experiences. Throughout its development, Songs of Silence has evolved hand-in-hand with player feedback gathered from open betas, surveys, and daily conversations between the team and the community," Chimera Entertainment states. With this in mind, the Munich-based company has confirmed that it is planning another expansion for mid-2026, which will be accompanied by numerous additional features arriving beforehand.

Chimera Entertainment is an independent game development studio founded in 2006 and based in Munich, Germany. Having worked on PC strategy games such as Windchaser and mobile RPGs such as Angry Birds Epic and Shadow and Bone: Enter the Fold, the studio has returned to its strategic roots with Songs of Silence.
