The first "real" gamer event organized by Wooga in Germany took place last weekend in Bottrop. Around 200 players from the June's Journey community attended.

On 23 March, Wooga held its first real-time community event. The Berlin-based company behind the billion-dollar hit June's Journey invited numerous players and media representatives to the Eloria Erlebnisfabrik in Bottrop. The aim was to bring the community together - after all, the game has a relatively high proportion of women, including over 50s. Around 200 people attended the event, including some of Wooga's most active players such as Conny Reiter.

"We are very pleased with this great player event and were delighted to meet many familiar faces as well as some new players for the first time in real life. We were particularly impressed by the number of guests who dressed in 20s outfits in keeping with the theme. One of our company values is 'Player Centric Approach', so it is important for our Player Experience team to interact with our players in the real world as well as digitally to get to know them better and celebrate important milestones together," says Dario Quondamstefano, Wooga Community Manager.
