3,400 professionals from all over the world attended the devcom Developer Conference 2023, which kicked off gamescom week in Cologne. But the huge visitor number was by no means the only record.

What a start for gamescom. Traditionally, the devcom developer conference (#ddc) kicks off the gamescom week, and as usual, the first results are announced on the trade visitor and media day. And they are something to be proud of. A total of 3,400 trade visitors from all over the world attended the #ddc in Cologne. This represents an increase of 28 percent compared to last year. According to the organisers, more and more experienced developers are coming to the #ddc to exchange ideas. One in three attendees has been in the industry for at least seven years. Other figures also represent a record: More than 250 speakers in over 160 sessions on 13 stages has never been seen at devcom before.

devcom 2024 is scheduled for 18-20 August 2024. However, there is no holiday on the cards for the devcom team. They will be available to gamescom business visitors in Hall 4.1, Stand B50.
