Two Bavarian game studios, Thogli Games from Fürstenfeldbruck and Pixel Maniacs from Nuremberg, have announced their new game projects around Halloween: A horse game homage, including horse game expert Alice Ruppert, and a horror culinary quest respectively.
The first announcement comes with a new studio reveal altogether. Thogli Studios is a new two-person team from Fürstenfeldbruck in Germany, made up of Anna Glinsmann and Theresa Thoma. Their project Horses of Hoofprint Bay is a dedicated homage to vintage horse flash games, and they brought fitting support on board: the marketing for the game will be done by Alice Ruppert, horse game expert for, among other games, The Legend of Khiimori by Aesir and owner of horse game website The Mane Quest. Ruppert will support the game from Switzerland.

Pixel Maniacs, the German Studio of the year 2024 from Nuremberg, has announced a new game on Halloween. It's Always Happy at Chubby's will be the studio’s first horror game, after their already released titles Can’t Drive This and ChromaGun and their currently developed ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard. The game is supposed to be released in 2026, will feature a price point below ten euros and has an announcement trailer.
