With exclusive game premieres, Zurich Pop Con & Game Show set a new record last weekend. The organizers are thrilled and are already planning for 2026.

450 exhibitors, numerous fan groups, and an extensive stage program made last weekend's Zurich Pop Con & Game Show a resounding success for organizer Amazing Events AG. Seven halls of the exhibition center were used, as well as the outdoor area, which featured an open-air stage for the first time, entertaining even those without tickets to the event.

As previously announced, there were numerous Swiss, European, and world premieres, a retro gaming zone, a board game area, a cosplay village, and a large artist alley with over 200 artists. The actors and content creators who traveled to the event proved to be a crowd-puller.

“We are overwhelmed by the unique atmosphere and enthusiastic feedback from fans, stars, and exhibitors, and are already looking forward to the next editions of the festival,” says festival director Anouk Brunner.  In fact, planning for 2026 is already underway. The Zurich Pop Con & Game Show will take place on September 26 and 27.

The Zurich Pop Con & Game Show is thus consolidating its position as the second community beacon alongside Fantasy Basel, which is co-organized by Amazing Events AG. Fantasy Basel will take place from May 14 to 16 and is expected to attract 97,000 visitors in 2025.
