Ubisoft Releases Anno 117: Pax Romana Demo
Ubisoft is also using a demo as a marketing tool to allow interested players to try out Anno 117: Pax Romana in advance. However, this one-hour demo will only be available for two weeks.
Ubisoft has released a demo of Anno 117: Pax Romana. It will be available from 2 September at 10 a.m. UTC/12 p.m. CEST until 16 September at 10 a.m. UTC/12 p.m. CEST. The demo is available on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect. The full version of the game, which was developed by Ubisoft Mainz, is set to launch on 13 November 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Its predecessor, Anno 1800, has attracted over six million players to date.
Each saved game will be limited to one hour of playtime, but players can start as many saved games as they want within the two-week timeframe. It will not be possible to carry over demo progress to the release version of Anno 117: Pax Romana. Multiplayer is not available in the demo. Anno 117: Pax Romana will feature full PvP and co-op modes in the final version of the game.
Ubisoft: "The demo gives you access to the early game portion of Anno 117: Pax Romana, letting you experience the first two population tiers in both Latium and Albion in Sandbox Mode. You will be able to settle new island, do research and build all the buildings of the available population tiers. While you can meet and interact with NPCs, you will not be able to declare and wage war. The demo also features only a limited selection of items to use in your villa and ships."
