FusionPlay is part of an unusual collaboration. The Leipzig studio is working together with the New Zealand YouTube channel and studio Viva La Dirt League on a game for Team17 Digital.

The web video production company Viva La Dirt League (VLDL), founded by Rowan Bettjeman, Alan Morrison, and Adam King, is known for its gaming parodies. Now they want to create their own game. The New Zealanders are working together with FusionPlay from Leipzig and Team17 Digital, who will publish the project. The three partners have not provided any further details about the type of game or when it will be released.

"Working with the guys from Viva La Dirt League is a blast. Creating a game around this exciting IP, which we are all fans of, is really amazing. Then having a partnership with Team 17, the indie Icon we all know and loved since our childhoods, feels like the icing on the cake," says Konrad Kunze, CEO of Fusion Play. And Ann Hurley, General Manager of Team17 Digital, adds: "We're thrilled to collaborate with such a fantastic team of developers! Team17 is excited to share our expertise in the publishing industry with Fusion Play and Viva La Dirt League."

VLDL is particularly enthusiastic about the collaboration: "It's finally happening! Our parody series about a pretend video game is actually becoming...A real game?!" And they add: "Get ready for Epic NPC Man's epic debut in the real gaming universe - we can't wait to share it with you!"
