DevGamm on Stage

The stage lineup of DevGamm Lisbon 2025 was impressive, with talks from Ubisoft's Nikola Stoyanov about building Japan for Assassin's Creed Shadows, Yegor Ostapenko from GSC Game World about maps and navigation in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 and many more. The keynote was held by Chris Charla of Xbox. A highlight for the developers on site where the two Public Pitch sessions with indie expert Rami Ismail in front of a jury (you can read about the studios and the winners here).

Showfloor Impression

With a career hub full of job vacancies, several Portuguese and Lisboan associations and of course a big selection of indie games to play, the showfloor of DevGamm Lisbon was great for business attendees of all trades. Remarkable games included DekaDuck by Brazilian studio Asteristic of Andre Silva, longtime game developer of Dreaming Sarah, among others, the contemporary GameBoy game Alentejo: Tinto's Law by Lisbon studio Loading Games (pictured in cowboy hat: founder Vasco Oliveira), Ghibli-like management game Hotel Galactic by Ancient Forge and a showcase of the DevGamm Award nominees.

DevGamm Party

The DevGamm party on Thursday at the Unicorn Factory event location in Lisbon's harbor area was host of the classic DevGamm Karaoke show with a professional karaoke DJ. We'll keep the private character of the party alive and won't post any photos, except for this teaser of the location. Suffice to say that the attendees where singing and partying until deep into the night.
