Diversity initiative Game:in seeks participants for diversity survey

The Game:in e.V. initiative for diversity in the games industry is looking for opinions on inclusion and gender diversity in the industry through an anonymous survey. The survey will run until mid-January in German and English.

With an anonymous survey, the Game:in initiative would like to gain an overview of diversity and gender equality within the German games industry and is asking for participants. The survey can be completed in German and English through this link until 15 January 2024. The Game:in initiative is committed to combating sexism in the industry and is therefore focussing on gender diversity within the survey. The survey asks for information on demographic classification, professional background and experience, salary, diversity and inclusion as well as experiences of sexism and harassment.

The results of the survey are intended to provide an overview of gender equality in the German games industry; Game:in wants to use the results to identify problems and derive recommendations for action. The initiative invites players from all areas of the games industry to participate in order to gain as representative an insight as possible.

The diversity initiative Game:in e.V. has been recently founded and wants to further diversity and inclusion in the German games industry through education and participation.
