The core of the new, extended multi-year exclusive agreement naturally concerns the content of the main product, NFL Madden, but also EA SPORTS College Football. Among other things, it involves new content and experiences that are to be integrated into both games.

In contrast to Europe, where Electronic Arts scores particularly well with EA Sports FC, leaving all other sports games far behind, NFL Madden is the undisputed number one in North America.

In this context, some secondary aspects are interesting, which the NFL and Electronic Arts have apparently anchored in their new contract. EA will be the presenting sponsor of the 2025 NFL Dublin game and the NFL Experience Dublin. EA will also expand the Madden NFL Championship Series (MCS) to a global audience with the first-ever MCS competition in Spain alongside the 2025 NFL Madrid game. For years, the NFL has been gradually and increasingly successfully expanding its presence by moving regular season games to Europe.
