Schools and teachers in Berlin and Brandenburg can apply for the 'Games Project Days' organised by Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur. The focus is on how computer and video games can be used for learning and to strengthen digital and media skills.

As part of the Games Project Days organised by Stiftung Digitale Spielekultur, media educators and game developers will conduct workshops with schoolchildren during regular school hours. From May to November 2025, the workshops will demonstrate how computer and video games can be used for learning and to strengthen digital and media skills. The programme will also include insights into game development. The 'Games Project Days: Berlin-Brandenburg' is also supported by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg.

In terms of content, schools can choose from two different themes: 'Digital Games in the Classroom & Strengthening Media Literacy' (recommended for grades 7 to 9) and 'Job Profiles in the Games Industry' (recommended for grades 10 to 12). Workshops will take place in schools between May and the end of November 2025. Applications should be submitted approximately four weeks before the desired date. The aim of 'Projects Games: Berlin-Brandenburg' is to support schools in teaching digital and media literacy in order to meet the growing importance of these skills for young people's development. Schools and teachers in Berlin and Brandenburg can apply here.
