It's "the world's first jam dedicated to bridging cultures through the power of Ubuntu": The Be Ubuntu Game Jam by Pan-African-European initiative Elimu Goal and Swedish-Polnish game school Futuregames wants to bring African and European game developers together. Starting on 14 April 2026, the 96 hour jam will be held online through Discord and Zoom and is available throughout the world.

The most special part: The Game Jam is aimed at Senior game workers from all ranges, trying to bring together the seeds of future game development studios through the collaboration and improvisation during the jam.

Studios and single participants can now register for the event through the Game Jam website.
