For the first time, kr3m has signed up French daily Le Monde as an international partner for its Playground online games platform. Further international deals are expected to follow.

kr3m has long been an established partner for media companies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The online games platform Playground, developed and operated by kr3m, is used as a white-label solution by Der Spiegel, Focus, Bild, NZZ, Blick and Kronen Zeitung, among others. The Karlsruhe-based company has now scored its first coup outside the GSA region: the French daily newspaper Le Monde has also integrated the platform into its online offering. At arcade.lemonde.fr it is completely localised and implemented in the design of the newspaper.

"Collaborating with Le Monde to feature our HTML5 games is a privilege. This partnership is a key milestone in our strategy to expand internationally and sets a positive tone for 2024.", says Jan Reichert, Managing Director kr3m.
