Benelux Games Industry: 800 Participants at Indigo 2025

The expanded two-day Indigo 2025 event attracted 800 participants to Rotterdam. Held at the World Trade Centre, the Benelux event brought together industry professionals, government representatives and stakeholders.
Indigo, the business event for the Benelux gaming industry, took place in Rotterdam on 27 and 28 May. This two-day conference brought together 800 industry professionals, government representatives and stakeholders at the World Trade Center in Rotterdam. The event featured over 30 talks and 26 new games in the Showcase, as well as the opportunity to present new concepts in the Pitch Perfect session. There were also plenty of opportunities for networking and deal-making (through MeetToMatch).
"As Indigo draws to a close, we can only express our immense appreciation and pride in our game industry community. Seeing 800 people come together from all corners of the world in such a collaborative and positive way, all eager to engage with the Benelux game industry, is the best result we could have hoped for," Geoff van den Ouden, Chairman of the Benelux Games Promotional Initiative (BGPI).
The Dutch Games Monitor 2024 and the Flemish VAF Report 2024 were released and discussed earlier this week at Indigo 2025. These reports offer valuable insights into the current state of the Benelux gaming industry.
Dobbel Dungeon, developed by Gamepie, won the Indigo 2025 Award. In this game, players roll dice to save the world from a transformative curse. It was selected by a professional jury from 26 competing titles that were showcased.
The Indigo 2025 event has been made possible thanks to the support of the City of Rotterdam, the Dutch Game Association, and the Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF). Indigo will return in 2026.
