Polaris Convention 2024: Tickets Available and First Creators

The Polaris Convention will take place for the third time in Hamburg this October. The ticket shop is now open. There is also a first look at the list of creators who will be part of the programme: Gronkh, Gnu, Lara Loft, PietSmiet, Rocket Beans TV, and DoktorFroid are on board.

Preparations are well underway for Polaris Convention 2024, which will take place from 11 to 13 October. While exhibitors have been actively applying for coveted booth space since the end of last year, the ticket shop opens for visitors today with the announcement of creators Gronkh, Gnu, Lara Loft, PietSmiet, Rocket Beans TV, DoktorFroid, Hiro from einfachjapanisch and NinotakuTV. Visitors can choose between a 1-day ticket (39 Euros), a 3-day ticket (69 Euros) and the popular "Bring your kids" ticket (65 Euros).

The event will take place in halls B1-B4 and B7 of the Hamburg Messehallen, with B4 already almost fully booked. Main sponsor Plitch will be back again in 2024. The large Plitch Main Stage will be the focal point for many events. These include creator appearances and the Cosplay Competition.

Anime and manga fans will be in their element with the Neo Taki stage and various booths. Carlsen Verlag, a leading publisher of anime and manga and based in Hamburg, will be among those welcomed to B4, making it a perfect fit for Polaris. "As a Hamburg-based publisher, we are delighted to be taking part in Polaris this year with our labels Carlsen Manga!, Hayabusa and C Lines. We think the opportunity to meet and support the regional manga community on site is great," says Kai-Steffen Schwarz, Programme Manager at Carlsen Manga. Also returning from last year is grnk.shop.

The Artist Alley is also taking shape, as more than 400 talented artists have already applied for one of the coveted places. Due to the high demand, almost twice as many applicants will be accepted this year, so the application deadline for the Artist Package has been brought forward to 30 April.

The Polaris Convention combines gaming, manga, anime and pop culture and is taking place in Hamburg for the third time this October. The event will take place from 11 to 13 October 2024 in the Hamburg Messe & Congress. Exhibitors can register here, and the ticket shop is open.
