FarmCon: Giants Software Announces Pre-Stream and Stage Schedule
Prior to FarmCon, Giants Software will host a pre-stream for the upcoming annual Farming Simulator convention. The programme for the community convention has also been finalised. The focus of both the stream and the stage will be Farming Simulator 25.
While the biggest FarmCon to date will take place on the weekend of 6 and 7 July at the Fendt Forum in Marktoberdorf, the English pre-stream will try to get the (worldwide) community excited on YouTube on 3 July at 19:00 CEST. The pre-stream will provide an insight into the improvements to Giants Engine 10, one of the maps, selected virtual machinery and the first gameplay impressions of harvesting rice, one of the new crops. The Farming Simulator League is also on the agenda.
Saturday will see the start of FarmCon (stage schedule). The live stage programme will feature presentations from Boris Stefan (CSO), who will showcase the Collector's Edition and other features. He'll be followed by Stefan Geiger (CTO), who will present technical enhancements to Farming Simulator 25 and its proprietary engine. Diving into the gameplay, Senior Level Designer Florian Busse offers a virtual sightseeing tour of one of the maps (Riverbend Springs), and new machinery is presented by Manuel Leithner (Lead Gameplay Programmer and Managing Director of Giants Software Erlangen). In addition, game shows with German and international content creators are planned, while Fendt team members will give an insight into their work and present the manufacturer. Finally, the winners of the FSL World Championships (Season 5) will be announced on stage.
On Sunday, FarmCon will close with modding and scripting presentations and Q&A sessions on technical topics of interest to the community's dedicated modders.
While the pre-stream is free to watch, the actual community event will take place on the weekend of 6 to 7 July at the Fendt Forum in Marktoberdorf. A limited number of tickets is still available. Farming Simulator 25 will be released on 12 November for PC, Mac, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
