Two Point Museum: Fantasy Finds

Two Point Museum, which was released in March, has received its first expansion: Two Point Museum: Fantasy Finds. It adds more variety, weirdness and humour to established museums.

Two Point Museum: Fantasy Finds is the first expansion for Two Point Museum, released in early March 2025. It is the third game from Two Point Studios, following Two Point Hospital (2018) - which had seven downloadable expansions (excluding cosmetic ones) - and Two Point Campus (2022), which had only three DLCs. Now, the Sega-owned Two Point Studios are building on the critical and player-wide acclaim of Two Point Museum.

The first DLC, Fantasy Finds, features a range of medieval fantasy artefacts that can be unlocked on a new fantasy expedition map. There are over 40 exhibits to discover, including the Teenie Kettle, the Novel Wardrobe and the Flying Carpet. These magical artefacts aren't just for show, either: when well maintained, they have a positive effect on guests. In order to discover these new exhibits on expeditions, players must hire (Fantasy) Experts belonging to the Barbarian, Wizard, Rogue or Bard subclasses. Each class has its own stats, such as strength, dexterity, intelligence and luck. The game features the same humour as the main game, but with a fantasy RPG twist. However, the basic system for obtaining these new artefacts remains the same.

In addition, the DLC includes three new guest archetypes interested in fantasy artefacts, as well as 26 decorations, utility items, interactive displays, banners, wallpapers, and floors. "You can even buff your museum staff with Mythical Gear exhibits which can be equipped or put on display, providing bonuses such as protection on nearby exhibits or even job security to fend off being fired," summarise the developers. Thus, the DLC expands the creative and quirky possibilities for museums. They fit well into the overall concept, although it is somewhat peculiar that no new fantasy-themed museum has been added, but rather a new series of expeditions. It is possible to complete the Fantasy Finds career on any base game museums in career mode. Completing Memento Act 1 unlocks the expedition map. Fantasy Finds is also available in Sandbox mode.

Fantasy Finds follows the free MIA Items and Exhibits Update (v4.0) and the free DLC Taster, which was released a week before the DLC to build excitement for Fantasy Finds. Update 4.0 introduced the final new museum, Pointy Mountain, for players who have already reached Curator Class VII. Two Point Museum: Fantasy Finds was released on 17 July 2025 for €7.99.

Conclusion

Two Point Museum: Fantasy Finds is a great addition to the main game, offering new exhibits with magical properties. However, these exhibits also deserve their own museum.
