Aesir Interactive and astragon Entertainment will be at PAX East to reveal the major expansion for "Police Simulator: Patrol Officers". The Gold Edition of the best-selling franchise will also be announced.

This week at PAX East, publisher astragon Entertainment and developer Aesir Interactive will be unveiling a major expansion for "Police Simulator: Patrol Officers" called "Highway Patrol". It will be available in summer 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One for 19.99 Euros. The expansion will extend the game map beyond the boundaries of Brighton, opening up access roads to the bustling Brighton highway district and introducing new tasks such as high-speed monitoring, truck load checks and motorway assistance. In the event of an accident, players will also have to be prepared to use fire extinguishers to put out fires at the scene.

Visitors to PAX East in Boston will have the opportunity to play the Highway Patrol expansion at the astragon Entertainment booth (booth 16105). On 23 March at 21:00 CET, the astragon PAX Showcase panel will showcase the key features of the expansion. Hosted by simulation content creator Raptor, the event will be broadcast live from the Boston Satellite Theatre. On 24 March at 18:00 CET, a highlight video for German-speaking users will be released on the German simulation channel Nplay, in which Ansgar Blauth from Nplay and producer Fabian Boulegue from astragon will jointly present the features of the Highway Patrol Expansion.

The Gold Edition was also announced. It includes the main game, the Garage Bundle with six vehicle DLCs and the Highway Patrol Expansion and will be available digitally for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One in summer 2024 for €39.99 or the regional equivalent. "Police Simulator: Patrol Officers - Gold Edition" will also be released simultaneously at retail in selected countries for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
