Bavaria supports twelve games with 770,000 euros
The FFF Bayern is funding twelve games in the development phase. At the third meeting this year, 770,000 euros were approved. The funded studios are located in Bayreuth, Nuremberg, Munich and Würzburg.
At its third meeting this year, the FFF Bayern games funding committee approved a total of €770,000 for the production of six game prototypes and the development of six game concepts.
The highest amount, €200,000, will be awarded to Thera Bytes from Munich for the tactical rogue-lite single-player title "Project Endor", whose concept has already been funded by the FFF. SenAm Games, also based in Munich, is adapting "The Three Musketeers" into a 3D action adventure and is producing the prototype for PC and consoles. Based on the novel by Alexandre Dumas, players take on the role of D'Artagnan who, together with Athos, Porthos and Aramis, must defend Queen Anne's honour, thwart Cardinal Richelieu's plans and convict the schemer Milady de Winter. FFF Bayern supported the development of the concept in March 2023 and will fund the project with additional €100,000.
Rappbit Games from Bayreuth was awarded €90,000 for "Seals of Chaos". The fantasy strategy game combines trading card elements with real-time strategy for mobile devices and PCs. EdenSpiel from Munich received 80,000 euros for "SixthForce", a puzzle platformer for two players in local co-op. Hinz & Caspar Caragames from Munich were awarded €80,000 for "Summoner Of Unity", a mix of single-player card game and tactical role-playing game with rogue-like elements. 80,000 also went to Spaceflower from Nuremberg for "Click to Clear". This minimalist dungeon crawler combines incremental click mechanics with a high-fantasy 3D role-playing game.
