In just over a month, the 2026 German Computer Game Award will be presented in Munich, with hundreds of representatives from the German games industry, politics, as well as academia and the media expected to attend. This is one of the reasons why the Games Bavaria network has moved the GG Bavaria Business Day away from the community trade fair this year and scheduled it for the day before the DCP. Games Bavaria has now released further details regarding the GG Bavaria Business Day on 28 April.

Doors open at 9.00 am and the GG Bavaria Business Day closes at 9.00 pm. Ticket sales are now open. A standard ticket costs 75 euros. A limited number of discounted tickets are available for students at 50 euros. The venue for the GG Bavaria Business Day has also been confirmed: Die Gamerei – The Bavarian Home of Game Changers in Munich. The hub for developers, creatives and companies in the Bavarian games industry features not only offices but also event and social spaces. However, due to the current layout of the venue, not all areas are accessible this year. The organisers ask anyone requiring accessible access to contact them directly so that they can find suitable arrangements.

The line-up of speakers and the programme will be announced on the website in the near future. Tickets are available from the ticket shop.
