About a month ago, game maker, artist and curator Jordan Magnuson has published the first issue of Game Poems, an anthology collection of short-form artistic games made up in the style of a magazine. Issue #1 can be read or rather played for free online. Now, Magnuson is looking for submissions of short-form games for the second issue. Submissions are open until 1 May 2026. Regarding the games’ topic, Magnuson writes: “The soft theme for this issue is Videogames Inside. This gentle prod serves as a playful pointer to the fact that our magazine is fully interactive, a nod to the cover-mounted demo disks of years past, and a reminder and provocation that we consider game poems to be videogames.”
