The creepy, tarot-inspired strategy deck builder Bloodletter will go into Early Access in January next year. It is the first game from the Berlin-based studio.

Berlin-based studio Aldamami Games will release its first game, the strategy deck builder Bloodletter, in Early Access in January 2026. Bloodletter is a strategic deck builder whose roots are intertwined with the arcane art of tarot, remedies of the flesh, and the surrounding superstitions. Evil entities have crept into the hearts of the common people, and only the bathhouse stands as a bastion against the creeping corruption.

Players will build a deck to heal the villagers' bodies and souls from the entities' attacks, gain their trust, and use the villagers' unique abilities to enhance the healing methods available. Bloodletter has a day/night cycle, with each part of the day offering different interactions. During the first part of the day, players heal the villagers. After that, various deck-building abilities can be used, such as upgrading cards, duplicating cards, or a variety of other options. Finally, the entity can exert its sinister influence on the villagers, and the day awakens once more to continue the battle.

Aldamami Games is a Berlin-based indie games studio founded in mid-2024. The prototype for Bloodletter emerged from their work together at university. Building on the success of their nomination for the Young Talent Award: Best Prototype at the German Computer Game Awards 2024, the studio was founded and has since received funding from Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg (€160,000) to turn Bloodletter into a full release.
