Since 2011, planetlan has been organising ‘Games for Families’, a trade fair roadshow that brings the world of video games, as well as board games and trading card games, to traditional consumer fairs across Germany. One of the key stops is the Mannheim Maimarkt, which will once again be a spring highlight for ‘Games for Families’ in 2026.

And the approximately 250,000 visitors expected at the Mannheim Maimarkt can look forward to a significantly larger area for playing. According to the organisers, the Games for Families stand is moving to Hall 13 and will increase in size by around 40%. In total, over 250 products from more than 20 manufacturers will be on display and available to try out in Mannheim. Over the eleven days of the fair, from 25 April to 5 May, more than 150 play stations will be available.

Making their debut at the stand are products from Anzen, Asmodee, Big Potato Games, eitech, Goliath Toys, Hans im Glück, HeidelBÄR Games, HEROS Wooden Toys and teifoc. Experienced sub-exhibitors, on the other hand, include ATM Gaming, BBK, Clementoni, Hubelino, Jumbo, Konami, Kosmos, Märklin, moses., Noris and Smart Games.

This autumn, Games for Families will be appearing at, amongst others, offerta in Karlsruhe (24 October to 1 November) and spielraum in Dresden (7 November to 8 November).
