As in previous years, a special sale of games from Germany will take place on Steam this year. German developers, studios and publishers can apply to Games Germany - Regional Funds and Networks to take part in the event.

Following the success of the "Made in Germany" Steam Sales organised by Games Germany with more than 200 games each in 2022 and 2023, the alliance of German games funding and networking institutions is organising a new sale for the end of June 2024. The aim is to showcase the diversity of German games on Steam, increase their visibility, and to enable the participating games companies to increase their sales. Games Germany is looking for developers, studios and publishers to submit their games for this event. Any company based in Germany can take part. The deadline for submissions is 18 April 2024 at 23:59 (application form).

Games Germany - Regional Funds and Networks is a cooperation of funding and network institutions from different parts of Germany. These includes FFF Bayern, Film und Medienstiftung NRW, gamearea-FRM (Hessen), Gamecity Hamburg, Games/Bavaria, games:net berlinbrandenburg, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, MFG Medien- und Filmgesellschaft Baden-Württemberg, Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung, nordmedia - Film- und Mediengesellschaft Niedersachsen/Bremen, and WERK1.Bayern.
