With the Bundestag elections taking place this weekend, the game association is pushing ahead with its #gamechanger livestream format. FDP party leader Christian Lindner has been announced as the next guest. The discussion will take place on 19 February.

On 19 February at 15.30, Felix Falk, Managing Director of game - the German Games Industry Association, will be in conversation with Christian Lindner, leader of the FDP. The discussion will focus on the 2025 federal elections and the key topics of the liberal party. The main focus will be on gaming policy, including the call for tax breaks and the former finance minister's view on this. Half an hour earlier, from 15:00, Felix Falk will talk to Benedikt Grindel, Zone Managing Director Ubisoft Production Studios, about the competitiveness of Germany as a games location in international comparison.

The #gamechanger talk aims to provide an overview of the parties' programmes and issues for the 2025 federal election. Lindner is the fifth politician to be welcomed by the game association in the lead-up to the early election as part of the #gamechanger talks. Dr. Matthias Miersch (SPD), Philipp Amthor (CDU), Dorothee Bär (CSU), and Michael Kellner (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen) have already been guests of Felix Falk. The #gamechanger talk can be watched on Twitch.
