The first event following the renaming of devcom to gamescom dev continues to take shape. While the organizers are still fine-tuning the program, the first speakers have already been confirmed and have now been revealed. Pawel Rohleder and Adam Lason from PixelAnt Games will deliver a keynote speech on the topic of “Dream. Fall. Rise again: We bought the studio back!”

Also confirmed as speakers are Garry Seto (Massive Damage Games), Stefania Halldórsdóttir (Avalanche Studios), Tymon Smektala (Techland) und Lisa Kretschmer (IO Interactive). Also confirmed are Lars Janssen (Deck 13 and game) and Per Strömbeck (Dataspelsbranschen), who are involved in the associations, among other things, as well as consultants Christian Fonnesbech (Leverage Partnership) and Tommy Thompson (AI and Games).

The gamescom dev leadership summit will take place in Lisbon from February 24 to 26. The aim is to create a top-level event in a private and protected atmosphere to encourage open exchange. The number of participants is limited.
