gamescom dev itself will take place from 23 to 25 August, kicking off with a networking reception for speakers and VIPs on Sunday. The actual conference programme will then begin on 24 August. The organisers are now looking for talks, panels and workshops for the programme.

Submissions can be made using the form. The call for speakers ends on 5 April. The exact conditions can be found in the guidelines.

gamescom dev is the new name for the developer conference at the beginning of gamescom, previously known as devcom developer conference. The name change was announced during devcom 2025, and the renaming to gamescom dev was completed in December. In 2025, the conference attracted 5,400 visitors from 2,500 different companies. The programme consisted of 220 sessions by 390 speakers spread across 17 stages.
